UNIT 3 : WATER : HOW CAN WE USE WATER RESPONSIBLY? ( ¿ CÓMO PODEMOS USAR EL AGUA RESPONSABLEMENTE?)
Every living thing needs water. It's important to keep water clean and only use what we need.
Todos los seres vivos necesitan agua. Es importante mantener el agua limpia y sólo usar la que necesitamos.
Here are some ways to save water
1. Make sure water taps are completely turned off. (Asegurate de que los grifos están cerrados completamente)
2. Don't use the toilet as a garbage bien (No uses el váter como una papelera)
3. Turn off the water tap while brushing your teeth. (Cierra el grifo cuando te estés lavando los dientes)
4. Run the washing machine only with a full load. (Pon la lavadora sólo cuando este llena)
5. Reuse the water for cleaning the vegetables to water the plants. (Reutiliza el agua de lavar las verduras para regar las plantas)
6. Rainwater can be harvested and stored to water your garden. (El agua de la lluvia puede ser recogida y almacenada para regar tu jardín)
7. Have a shower instead of a bath. (Date una ducha en lugar de un baño)
UNIT 3 : WATER : PRECIPITATION ( LAS PRECIPITACIONES)
Precipitation is when the water in clouds falls back down to Earth. Precipitation can be rain, hail, sleet or snow.
Las precipitaciones ocurren cuando el agua en las nubes cae a la Tierra. Las precipitaciones pueden caer en forma de lluvia, granizo, aguanieve o nieve.

UNIT 3 : WATER : THE WATER CYCLE (EL CICLO DEL AGUA)
Water can be solid, liquid or gaseous. It moves around the Earth in these different forms in the oceans, lakes, clouds, rain and snow. This is called the water cycle.
El agua tiene tres estados: sólido, líquido y gaseoso. Se mueve alrededor de la Tierra en estas formas diferentes en los océanos, lagos, nubes, lluvia y nieve. A esto lo llamamos el ciclo del agua.
UNIT 3 : OCEANS OF THE WORLD (LOS OCÉANOS DE LA TIERRA)
Oceans are large bodies of water. There are 5 Oceans around the world : Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian OCean, Artic Ocean and Southern Ocean (or Antartic Ocean)
Seas are close to land and are smaller than oceans. Some seas are the MEditerranean Sea, The Greenland Sea, the Caribbean Sea and the Red Sea.
Los océanos son grandes masas de agua. Hay cinco océanos en el mundo: El Océano Pacífico, el Océano Atlántico, el Océano Indico, el Océano Glacial Ártico y el Océano Glacial Antártico.
Los mares están más cerca de la tierra y son más pequeños que los océanos. Algunos ejemplos de mares son: el MAr Mediterráneo, el Mar de Groelandia, el Mar Caribe y el Mar Rojo.
UNIT 3: WATER : BODIES OF WATER (LAS MASAS DE AGUA)
There are different bodies of water around the Earth. Lakes and rivers are inland. The water is fresh. Oceans and seas go around our land . The water is salty.
(Hay diferentes masas de agua alrededor de la tierra. Los lagos y los ríos están situados dentro de la tierra. Su agua es dulce. Los océanos y los mares bordean la tierra. Su agua es salada.)

We use water for drinking , cooking and cleaning every day. We can also use water to travel from one place to another.
